Kansas City Mavericks (ECHL) | Photography & Videography Intern

As a Photography and Videography Intern with the Kansas City Mavericks, I contribute to the team’s digital presence in a fast-paced, high-performance environment—supporting content creation during one of the most successful seasons in franchise history, culminating in a playoff run as the league leader in points.

On game days, I assist in capturing real-time photography and video that bring fans closer to the action—from high-intensity in-game moments to bench reactions, fan interactions, and behind-the-scenes content. Working under tight deadlines, I quickly deliver assets for social media, in-game use, and marketing initiatives, ensuring content is timely, engaging, and aligned with the Mavericks’ brand.

Beyond game coverage, I support the digital team throughout the season by generating creative content, assisting with shoots, and contributing ideas that enhance storytelling across platforms. Whether it’s player features, community events, or promotional campaigns, I help create content that reflects both the competitiveness of the team and the personality of the organization.

Being part of a winning culture has elevated my approach to storytelling—understanding how to capture momentum, energy, and emotion in a way that resonates with fans and builds excitement. This role has strengthened my ability to work collaboratively, adapt quickly, and produce high-quality content that supports fan engagement, brand growth, and the overall success of the organization.
