Social Media Management

Social media is where fans experience a brand in real time—and I’ve built my approach around making that experience meaningful, engaging, and results-driven.

My experience in social media management comes from working within professional sports environments, where speed, creativity, and strategy all have to work together seamlessly. I’ve managed and contributed to content across platforms including Instagram, TikTok, X, and Facebook—developing content calendars, executing daily posts, and producing live game coverage that captures the energy of the moment.

I focus on creating content that does more than fill a feed. Every post is an opportunity to tell a story, build emotional connection, and strengthen the relationship between a team and its fans. Whether it’s highlighting player personalities, building anticipation for game day, or engaging with fans in real time, I aim to create content that feels authentic and keeps audiences coming back.

At the same time, I understand the business impact behind social media. My work is rooted in strategy and performance—using analytics and insights to refine content, grow audiences, and support larger goals like ticket sales, sponsorship value, and fan retention.

I approach social media as both a creative outlet and a strategic tool—where storytelling, data, and brand voice come together to create a lasting impact.

Content Creation & Platform Management

During my time with the Iowa Wild, I played an active role in managing and executing daily social media content across Instagram, TikTok, Facebook, and X. I assisted in building and maintaining a consistent content calendar, ensuring posts were timely, on-brand, and tailored to each platform’s audience.

My responsibilities included creating graphics, editing short-form video, writing captions, and publishing content that aligned with ongoing campaigns and game-day coverage. I also contributed to real-time posting during games—capturing key moments, highlights, and behind-the-scenes content that kept fans engaged as the action unfolded. This experience strengthened my ability to work quickly and creatively while maintaining accuracy and brand consistency in a live sports environment.

Strategy, Analytics & Cross-Department Collaboration

Beyond execution, my role with the Iowa Wild gave me valuable experience in the strategy and business side of social media. I collaborated closely with marketing, PR, ticketing, and corporate partnership teams to ensure content supported broader organizational goals, including ticket sales, sponsor activation, and fan engagement initiatives.

I utilized tools such as GA4, Meta Insights, and Eloqua to analyze content performance and identify trends, helping inform future strategy and optimize engagement. This role showed me the importance of aligning creative content with data-driven decisions—ensuring that every post not only connected with fans but also contributed to measurable growth.

Working in this integrated environment reinforced my understanding that successful social media management is both creative and strategic—requiring strong communication, adaptability, and a clear focus on delivering value to both fans and the organization.
